Ryan Quinn

About

A student, a founder, a builder.

I founded Iceverse, a luxury tech and blockchain startup in Manhattan using NFC for product authentication.

Before that, I built my personal brand to 156K+ followers and 20M+ impressions across YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, and Twitch as a content creator and community builder.

At Venture University in San Francisco I worked as a Venture Fellow. I evaluated early-stage consumer, fintech, and media companies on go-to-market, business model, and team.

I'm now studying Business Administration with a Computer Science minor at Chapman University (Argyros College of Business and Economics). I've also completed programs at NYU Stern and USC Marshall.

"I work better when I actually enjoy what I'm doing. Rigid systems slow me down."

Principles

Mission & Vision

Mission

Approach every opportunity with curiosity and resilience, and build things that are actually useful to other people.

Vision

Build companies that change how an industry works, using technology as the unfair advantage.

I want to build businesses that solve real problems. Not quick wins. Work that holds up.

Reflection

S.M.A.R.T. Goal Progress

Goal 1Partial

Startup

Ship a film-production operating system MVP by end of March, tested by film students in early April. Talked with experienced producers. Then ran into a conflict with a friend working on something similar, so I paused to figure out alignment before pushing forward.

Startups don't run on precise deadlines.

Goal 2On Track

Personal Interests

Surf and play guitar around 3x a week without over-scheduling. Dropped the rigid tracking, made it feel natural, and ended up more consistent because of it.

Not everything needs to be optimized to work.

Goal 3Adjusted

Fitness & Nutrition

Gym 5x a week, 150g protein a day. Got sick, lost the streak, lost momentum. Easing back in. Next semester I'll set a floor of 3 days a week and build up from there instead of going all-or-nothing.

A baseline beats a streak you can't keep.
